LEAWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Leawood Chamber Awarded Leadership Transformation Grant

Leawood Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.

The Leawood Chamber, together with its partners Shawnee Mission School District, Blue Valley School District, Leawood Lions Club and the City of Leawood, have been awarded a Leadership Transformation Grant by the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC).

The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering leadership for stronger, healthier and more prosperous Kansas communities

Every year, KLC provides scholarships to civically engaged organizations across Kansas to participate in their leadership programs. The Leadership Transformation Grants affirm the Kansas Leadership Center’s commitment to foster a culture of leadership in organizations and communities throughout the state, for the common good of all Kansans. In the four years KLC has provided these grants, the organization has given 145 grants, trained 5,000 people and invested $4 million in Kansas organizations and communities.
