Graduates earn 67 degrees from Manhattan Christian College


About 79.1 percent of the 67 degrees and certificates handed out by Manhattan Christian College in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Manhattan conferred 48 bachelor's degrees and 5 associate's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in bible/biblical studies. Data shows the school gave out 37 bachelor's degrees in bible/biblical studies, followed by 12 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 10 bachelor's degrees in lay ministry.

The college enrolled 282 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
